Aqara launches Smart Lock U200 with Matter
Aqara has launched the Smart Lock U200 which comes with support for Matter. The lock offers several unlocking options, including Apple home key, fingerprint recognition, PINs, mobile apps, voice assistants, Aqara NFC cards, and traditional keys.
The U200 is designed for easy installation over existing locks without the need to change keys or modify the door structure. The lock offers advanced security with encryption, tampering alarm and automatic lock function. It also provides real-time notifications about the home's security status.
The lock has a battery life of up to 6 months and supports the Thread protocol for long-term use. The wireless keypad is IPX5 rated and can be powered by AAA batteries or existing doorbell wire.
The Smart Lock U200 is now available at Aqara's Amazon stores in North America and Europe, as well as select retailers worldwide.
