Light Strip T1 Aqara

The first light strip from Aqara is primarily designed for consumers. A 2 meter long strip of the Aqara Light Strip T1 is capable of displaying many colors thanks to its LEDs, which is something we have seen more and more of in the last year. The strip is 20 cm long, which theoretically translates into ten distinct color zones, and uses Zigbee 3.0, which requires an Aqara hub. It can switch between warm and cold light and can make use of Apple's Adaptive Lighting feature. In order for the light to flash to music and other sounds, the head unit also has a built-in microphone. Light strip T1 also serves as a repeater for Zigbee.

Aqara Color Ceiling Light T1

Next up is a ceiling light, which is Aqara's first with RGB. An earlier T1 ceiling lamp from Aqara could only produce warm to cold white colors. With the new ceiling light, it is again compatible with adaptive lighting and is capable of both color and warm to cold white. In addition, it has a ceiling lighting backlight. It has a size of 50 cm in diameter and is also IP20 rated. It uses Zigbee 3.0 and acts as a repeater because it is coupled with constant current.

Aqara Curtain Motor C3

Aqara's new curtain motor is powered by mains electricity rather than batteries. However, it has adaptive opening/closing speeds and can pull an astonishing 80kg weight. Although the curtains are motorized, you can pull them to allow the engine to start and close the curtains for you. Unlike most curtain motors now on the market, you can even hold the curtains to instruct the engine to stop. The curtain sound is as low as 26dB at its slowest speed.

Aqara Smart Wall Switch Z1

There is not much information available about these new switches, but as far as we know, they have both horizontal and vertical wired switches. Although at the moment it seems that these are wired but also have wireless buttons, just based on the image, it seems that these are wireless. But given that they are square, the wired models would only be suitable for China, the UK and possibly the EU.

Since at least the first three of these items use Zigbee and are all compatible with Apple Home, they can all be connected to Matter using a compatible hub.
