Gardena introduces new smart robotic lawnmowers — with and without a perimeter wire

Wireless precision with SILENO free

The biggest novelty is the model smart SILENO free, which can handle lawns up to 1,500 square feet without a restrictor cable. Using satellite-based navigation and real-time positioning, a virtual map of the lawn is created via the Gardena smart app. The user can easily define mowing zones, avoid certain areas, and adjust the clipping frequency based on needs. Installation should be quick — all you need is to place the charging station and let the app guide the mower during its first turn.

With the integrated Lona Technology the user gets a detailed map of the garden and can make adjustments in real time. In addition, the lawn mower is continuously updated via the cloud, ensuring that it always has the latest technology.

Reliable and efficient cutting with SILENO max

For those who prefer a more traditional solution, it is also launched smart SILENO max, which uses limiting cable. The model is adapted for lawns up to 1,500 square meters and offers features such as Trim-to-edge, which causes the grass to be cut right in to the edges. The mower is equipped with two blade discs to cope with larger areas faster and can be used in both rain and sunshine.

One of the novelties is that SILENO max can be upgraded with Gardena smart system, which opens up more features and remote control via app.

Innovative features for easy care

Both models are equipped with features such as anti-collision radar, anti-theft protection with PIN code and a quiet operation of 57 dB (A). They can also be cleaned with a simple garden hose and are adapted for gradients up to 30 percent.
