What can we expect from the Dreame Roboticmower A1
Robotic lawnmowers are entering a new generation, especially robots with precision navigation and AI. Robotic lawnmower that can be easily started and automates mowing at your fingertips. Forget the old buried restrictor cables. The Chinese company Dreame, which previously dealt mostly with robot vacuum cleaners, is now entering the market for a new generation of robotic lawnmowers.
Thanks to all the advanced technology of this robotic lawnmower, it should only take 15 minutes to set up the unit. OmniSenseTM The 3D Ultra Sensing System ensures that the robot mows your lawn efficiently using positioning and LIDAR with 70m and 360°x59° range. How the technology differs against all competitors released this year remains to be seen but with the help of AI and a so-called pointcloud, the robot can identify up to 11 different types of obstacles to avoid these. Through the app you will get a clear overview of your garden in 3D where you can also easily set the cutting height between 3-7cm.
The robotic lawnmower can tackle gardens of 2000sq m and has a mowing width of 22cm. It can handle an inclination of 24° (45%) which is perfectly ok. The so-called innovative U Path Planning feature should help with the mowing result. When the battaries run out, the robot should make its way back to the charging station to resume mowing when fully charged.
According to Dreame, all the clever and well-developed features of the Dreame robot vacuum app should be included with their robotic lawnmowers as well. Cutting modes that will be offered are All-Area, Zone, Edge, and Spot Mowing Modes.
One thing is for sure, spring will be interesting to say the least when it comes to the new generation of robotic lawnmowers and we will try to give you the best picture of these with tests and news.
Dreame hasn't gone out with a price yet but plans to launch the robotic lawnmower globally by spring.
