The camera is powered by a battery with an impressive lifespan of around 90 days, and thanks to the included solar panel, you never have to worry about charging it manually. The upgraded solar panel, which is now 1.5X more powerful than previous versions, gives the camera 24/7 monitoring, as long as it receives enough sunlight. You can easily mount the solar panel on the camera for a discreet installation, or put it in a place where the sun reaches better.. Only two hours of sunlight a day is enough for the camera to operate for a full 24 hours. For flexibility, a three-meter USB-C cable is also included.

The SoloCam S340 is equipped with pan & tilt functionality and 8x hybrid zoom, which allows it to cover a huge surveillance surface without you missing any important details. This zoom is complemented by the advanced on-device AI-powered tracking, which ensures that the camera automatically follows a moving object in picture. In addition, the camera has two-way communication, which makes it easy to communicate with someone who is in the camera's field of view. It's also compatible with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing you to control it with your voice and easily integrate it into your smart home.

For those who choose to buy the SoloCam S340 together with HomeBase 3, you will have access to BionicMind, a smart solution with facial recognition. The included 16GB storage in HomeBase 3 goes a long way, but there's also the option to upgrade to a whopping 16TB, giving you almost unlimited space to save video recordings.
