Neato announces that it plans to end the manufacture of its robotic vacuum cleaners. It's important to note that even if they stop producing the devices, software updates and cloud services will still be available for at least five years to come.

When we compare the Neato Botvac D4 Connected with its big brother, the Neato Botvac D7 Connected, we see clear similarities between them. They share many of the basic features and design elements. The differences lie in some specific aspects. For example, the D7 has a slightly longer operating time and is equipped with a HEPA filter. In addition, the D7 usually has a lower price compared to the D4.

This makes the choice between the Neato Botvac D4 Connected and the D7 somewhat limited. The D7 offers the advantages of longer uptime and HEPA filtration at a more favorable price. Therefore, it can be difficult to find strong reasons to choose the D4 when the D7 is available as a more affordable option.
