Sensative, the Swedish company, has created an impressive product with its magnetic sensor, the Strips Guard 700. What really sets this sensor apart is its unmatched battery life, which is an impressive achievement. In addition, the design is extremely slim, with a thinness of only 3 mm. It is an impressive combination of functionality and aesthetics.

We have had the opportunity to try the Sensative Strips Guard 700, and our experience indicates that in practice the battery life is often shorter than the promised 10 years. The actual service life depends, of course, on how often and intensively the sensor is activated. If you choose to install it on a window that only opens once a week, the battery will likely last longer than if you place it at the main entrance where it is activated several times daily.

Sensative claims that these magnetic sensors have an impressive range of 100 meters. Unfortunately, we haven't had the opportunity to test this on our own, so it's something to take into consideration if range is a determining factor for your specific area of use.

In summary, the Sensative Strips Guard 700 offers an impressive combination of long battery life and minimalist design. However, you should be aware that the actual battery length may vary depending on usage. In addition, the scope is something that should be investigated further if it is of great importance for your purpose of use.
