Aqara launches an updated M2 hub
Aqara has released an updated version of its popular M2 Zigbee 3.0 hub. The new modelcomes with Matter as standard. From now on, the M2 can be powered directly through the Ethernet port (PoE), and the micro USB port can still be used over Wi-Fi.

Faster speeds are guaranteed by a new dual-core A7 processor, and a threaded hole has been added to the bottom of the unit to allow for new installation choices. In addition, there is the possibility of creating ringtones of your own files. At the moment, the new hub is only available on the Chinese market and later this year the M3 hub will also be launched, according to Aqara.
