An AirPlay 2 adapter from Eve has appeared in a database today after the company was acquired by ABB. The product shows a wireless adapter in aluminum framing that has not yet been officially announced.

Eve's adapter, in that case, would connect to your existing speakers or amplifiers and allow users to stream audio wirelessly via AirPlay 2. There are many similar devices on the market, but Eves seems to be the finest so far.

It appears to have a silvery aluminium ring around the outside with a polished façade edge along the top. The top surface, presumably in glossy plastic, is similar to Eve's other smart home devices such as Eve Button, Eve Room 2, Eve Weather and Eve Aqua.

The drawings show a 5V DC power input, Ethernet input, coaxial and optical digital outputs, and left and right analog outputs.

Eve, based in Germany, is likely to release the audio adapter in the near future, despite its acquisition by ABB earlier this month. Keep an eye out for more!
