Matter certifications week 15
A number of gadgets have once again received the Matter certification in the past seven days. Industry leaders created the open IoT platform Matter to encourage device compatibility for smart homes and provide customers with more simplicity and reliability. All major smarthome platforms, including Apple HomeKit, are compatible with devices that use Matter.
Earlier this year, Neo unveiled a wide range of gadgets that should become compatible with Matter. The company's first product to receive Matter is the Neo Smart Plug. Plans are also to a motion sensor, water detector, flush mounted module and an irrigation system.
Other gadgets, besides EcoFlow and Neo smart plugs that have received Matter certification in recent days are an outdoor LED strip from WiZ, a filament lamp from Leedarson and an IoT prototype platform from Nordic that can be used to develop Matter products.
As usual, manufacturers are responsible for the introduction of new products and the provision of firmware updates.
