SmartThings gets Matter 1.2 in latest update

Samsung has recently updated its SmartThings app to improve the user experience in the smart home. The new features include shareable routines, improved hub management, support for Matter 1.2, and an upgraded user experience.

The support for Matter 1.2 integrates with more devices and gets an improved developer integration. Now you will be able to control a pair of robot vacuum cleaners that have already been supported for matter e.g. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. Other types of products now receiving support include dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines, fans, air conditioners, air purifiers and various sensors.

Other things that are updated and added are:
