The 410XE NERA is designed to withstand all weather conditions with its rugged and weather-resistant construction. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller to medium-sized gardens up to 1000 m². The modern and elegant design is typical of Husqvarna and makes it blend nicely into any garden. In addition, it has a low noise level, which means that it can work discreetly in the background without interfering. Unlike e.g. Dreame A1 Husqvarna's lawn mowers have a better build quality that will probably last much longer.
Cutting ability and EdgeCut
One of the most notable features is EdgeCut, which minimizes the need for trimming along the edges. The additional counter at the rear allows for a sweeping motion to reach hard-to-reach areas, resulting in a smooth and well-mowed lawn. This is especially useful for gardens with complex shapes or many obstacles.
The mower is equipped with an advanced cutting system that includes three sharp, rotating blades for a nice and precise cut. The adjustable cutting height allows you to customize the mowing according to your specific needs, from 20 to 55 mm.
EPOS Technology
With the EPOS (Exact Position Operating System) kit, the 410XE NERA can operate without physical boundary cables. You can buy this kit for an extra penny. Satellite based technology (RTK) allows you to create virtual borders with an accuracy of 2—3 cm. This gives you the flexibility to easily change mowing areas and avoid possible damage to the mower cable. The installation of the EPOS system is relatively easy for those who have little technical knowledge, but for those who are doing this for the first time, we can recommend using Husqvarna. They will come to your home and help with the installation. Then be sure to prepare with a drawn electrical cable so that the installation can be carried out, after which you can review a permanent draw. Also think about preparing other things such as removing branches, shrubs, leaves, etc. to facilitate a smooth installation.
The EPOS technology is particularly useful for gardens with varying boundaries or where you want to avoid fixed barriers such as flower beds or playgrounds. The EPOS system also allows the creation of multiple zones, which means that different areas of the garden can be managed individually depending on their specific needs.
Although the technique is so precise and accurate, the robot can only cut a random pattern. It minimizes ruts in the lawn but also requires the robot to be allowed to walk for a long time to cover all surfaces. If you compare it with Dreame A1 which has a U-shape pattern similar to a robot vacuum cleaner, so it takes longer for the 410XE Nera.
The EPOS antenna is an exclusive solution, in order to get the best coverage, the antenna must be mounted high up with good visibility over the plot. It is important that it is not obscured so that it gets as good a range as possible.
Once the map of the garden is created, you can plot areas of the garden where you do not want your robotic lawnmower to go. For example, it can be a larger stone in the middle of the garden or a pond. Shrubs, large outdoor furniture etc you do not need to mark in the app, these are things that the robot will detect and avoid thanks to the radar.
Automower Connect App
The Automower Connect app gives you full control over your lawnmower. Through the app you can:

• Monitor lawnmower status and receive notifications, no matter where you are
The app is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to program and monitor your lawn mower. For example, you can set mowing schedules, adjust mowing height and track lawnmower movements in real time. In addition, the app offers a security feature that allows you to lock the mower and receive notifications if it should be moved from its area.
Performance and Reliability
During our testing period, the 410XE NERA performed consistently and reliably. It handled both flat and hilly surfaces with ease, thanks to its powerful engine and efficient drive system. In addition, it is equipped with sensors that help it avoid obstacles and adjust its route if necessary, minimizing the risk of getting stuck. Here there is potential for improvement, it is not all obstacles that are detected.
Battery life is allows 75-100 min of continuous operation before returning to the charging station. The charging time is about 90 min, which means that it can resume its work relatively quickly.
