New solution for photovoltaic optimization

Tado° launched a new service to optimize energy use from photovoltaic cells. Using forecasts of how much electricity the solar panels are expected to produce, their solution can automatically schedule heat pump operation and electric car charging to maximize the use of free solar energy. It will provide a more sustainable use of renewable energy and lower electricity costs for households.

Partnership with Panasonic for more efficient heat pumps

Tado° and Panasonic unveiled their first joint offering, combining Panasonic's AQUAREA heat pumps with Tado°'s Heat Pump Optimizer X and other energy management services. This solution, available from November 2024, optimizes the operation of the heat pump to reduce energy costs by using cheaper or more sustainable electricity for specific times.

Expanded product portfolio with wireless thermostat and more compatible heat pumps

Tado° also launched its new wireless Smart Thermostat X, which complements their X series. In addition, they announced that their Heat Pump Optimizer X is now compatible with both Daikin and Panasonic heat pumps. These products are part of TADO°'s drive to make energy management easier and more cost-effective, while reducing carbon emissions.
